With the rain falling outside, come in and settle down to something lovely at The Ship Inn. 🤩

Our sea bass is served with crushed new potatoes, kale and creamy leeks, beautifully crisp skin, delicate fish and a little comfort for a rainy day.

You’ll find it on our Chef’s Specials here in Aldborough.

There’s always room for a proper crumble. 🥄

Apple, pear and autumn berries, topped with crumble and served with crème anglaise. A lovely way to finish a meal, especially as the evenings turn cooler. 🍂

You’ll find it on our Chef’s Specials at The Ship Inn, Aldborough. We’d love to welcome you in.

There’s something lovely about an autumn evening at the pub - a good meal, a glass of something you fancy and time to catch up with your favourite people.

Our new Chef’s Specials at The Ship Inn are full of comforting seasonal flavours, from smoked haddock chowder to game pie with creamy chive mash, followed by apple, pear and autumn berry crumble with crème anglaise.

Whether you’re joining us for a family meal, a quiet evening for two or a long-overdue catch-up, we’d love to welcome you.

Come in from the cold and make yourself at home. 🤎

Our Christmas Day menu is here, and bookings are now open! 🎄

Join us for fizz and a canapé on arrival, followed by five festive courses, tea or coffee and truffles. From roast turkey with all the trimmings to beef Wellington, there’s plenty to look forward to, and we’ll take care of the washing up! 🥂

🍂 Soup season is officially back!

You can now add a bowl of delicious, warming soup to your sandwich - or simply enjoy it on its own.

We’ll be serving some wonderful autumn flavours throughout the season, although you really can’t beat a well-made classic tomato soup - which is today’s choice!

And there’s plenty more to look forward to… Our seasonal crumbles will soon be returning to the dessert menu, alongside some properly heartwarming dishes on our Chef’s Specials - including a beautiful homemade chowder.

We can’t wait!

You see us rave about our Chef’s Specials and rightly so, they really are to die for! But sometimes, you just can’t beat the classics...

Proper, hearty British food served in a lovely village pub: juicy sausages, creamy mash, rich onion gravy & seasonal greens, finished with crispy onions.

Simple, comforting and absolutely unreal - especially with a pint of Theakston’s. 🍺
